Mission:

  • To promote and improve cycling in Golden and the surrounding area.

Purposes:

  • To operate as a non-profit institution with profits from all activities and memberships to go towards improving cycling in the Golden area.
  • To educate cyclists in the safe and responsible use of bicycles
  • To promote the appreciation of and care for public lands
  • To ensure and maintain access for cycling on public lands
  • To encourage participation in recreational and competitive cycling to people of all ages and abilities
  • To advocate that bike access and trail coordination becomes an integral part of the recreation philosophy and planning in Golden and area
  • To promote understanding and cooperation between different user groups
